A nice place to visit, and a must, given what this man achieved in his lifetime. It is worth the walk from the main mall, even though you do do a lot of walking. F1LoverAnn的完整评论

This was a nice area to walk with lots of statues. (Looking on the pictures on here I clearly missed some of them). There are toilets, and a couple of water refill stations. Take your camera. Tigeriffic69的完整评论

I would recommend public transport always in DC. But, there is some street parking over near Ohio Dr SW and West Basin Dr SW, as well as some over near the Lincoln Memorial. However, it is extremely limited and you must get there very early in the morning to snag a spot.
It's possible you could find parking around the Tidal Basin, but I would suggest you take an Uber from wherever you are and get there that way - DC parking is horrendous!
Went there last year. Absolutely loved it. But, the water features were not operational. Hoping to go back this summer. But, wanted to make sure water features were working. Were they??

Yes, there is metered parking on Ohio Drive SW, as you drive from Jefferson to Lincoln along Pontomac river. You can park there and walk to all the memorials, also including Lincoln, Korean and Vietnam, as there isn’t much parking nearer those (there is some). We’re literally driving back after seeing Roosevelt memorial on our way out of DC, thank you all those TripAdvisor reviewers, without whom we wouldn’t have seen this beautiful sight.
