2023年12月10日 · I’ve been following a guy on YouTube that over the past couple of years have designed, tested, and looks like now is manufacturing an exhaust for the Gen6 Goldwing. If you are one who likes a bit of sound, this one sounds great. He claims it dyno’d an increase of 8-10hp and 4 ftlb of torque. I like the sound as far as the YouTube video goes.

Rather, you set up standing sound waves in the pipe, which when done correctly, give a low pressure area just outside the exhaust valve, which helps scavenge the cylinder. The length and size of the pipe affects the rpm at which this occurs.

2009年2月2日 · I'm looking to change the exhaust pipes on my gl1800 from stock to something with a little deeper sound. I'm not looking for the no muffler Harley sound, just a more throater sound. Any ideas? The only exhaust replacement system I've heard excellent reviews about is the Vance & Hines. They definitely have a nice sound to them.

2013年7月19日 · Has anyone put a set of new Cobra Tri-Oval Exhaust pipes on their GL1800 and what is your opinion of this modification? Does it really help low to mdrange power or is this all bull. I have only seen one GL1800 with those mufflers and they sound good. Loud but deep which to my ears is good.

2021年2月23日 · The sound is nice. Not too loud. Neighborhood friendly. Sedate riding, it's barely different from stock (no drone or annoyance on the highway). Dip into the throttle, tach it up a bit, and it has a pleasant, muted flat six roar. Feels like a modern sports car with an active exhaust.

2009年11月6日 · I have the Torque Master turn down pipes and I think that they sound great. No high speed drone. No improvement on performance that I can tell. They are not much loader than stock so I don't bother any one when I ride in a group, but they sound way deeper and better than stock pipes. IMHO. RogerB
