The National Elections Commission (NEC) is an autonomous public commission that is responsible to conduct elections for all elective public offices and to administer and enforce all elections laws throughout the Republic of Liberia. Historically, NEC has its origin from the Constitution of Liberia.

General elections were held in Liberia on 10 October 2023 to elect the President, House of Representatives and half of the Senate. [1][2] Incumbent president George Weah was eligible for a second term. [3] .
