The home menu appears on the TV screen. Select Setup → Advanced Settings → Speaker Settings → Wireless Speaker Settings → Check wireless connection.

Check the status of the subwoofer LED indicator: When the LED lights up red after turning on the audio device, the connection (link) between the soundbar speaker and the subwoofer may not be complete. Set the link settings again.

2020年10月3日 · Solution: Force the soundbar onto a quieter channel. Download the wifi tool linked below. Identify the channel used by "SurroundMaster". Toggle RF Channel on and off until the SurroundMaster chooses a wifi channel with minimal interference. Then set RF Channel to off.

After one minute, re-plug the power cable back to the wall outlet.

We regret to hear you're having connectivity issues with your subwoofer. If you've already tried to disconnect and reconnect the subwoofer, please try to perform a factory reset and reconnect the subwoofer to the soundbar. I completely disconnected the subwoofer from a/c power for over a minute and then plugged it back in and let it reconnect.

2024年2月4日 · Wanted to solve it for good so I searched the internet and read comments on Reddit and Google forums etc. Decided to buy some 10m aux cables and hard wire the rear speakers and sub to the soundbar. 100% fixed the intermittent connection issues, however I now have constant static noise (along with the audio).

HT-Z9F soundbar sets up its own WiFi hotspot to connect to rear and subwoofer wirelessly. But it defaults to wifi channel 129 (last channel) - regardless if that wifi channel is congested. This seems to be something Sony can fix in their implementation.

2019年8月21日 · Make sure the MUTE function has not been activated. Try turning up the volume level. Check that there are no headphones connected. Check if the issue also occurs to other device connected to the TV. You may try to changing the TV channel or play back a movie on a DVD player. Try different cables to verify this is not a bad set of cables.
