Sep 19, 2021 · At idle it sounds very mild, and at most speeds it sounds very tame. But when you wind it up, look out! As I always say, to me, it belies the onster within. A wolf in sheep's clothing. I have no need for any modification. To me, it's perfect. I think one thing Honda always gets right is the exhaust note, no matter the engine configuration.

Jan 1, 2020 · The exhaust has a nice crossover pipe done at the correct angles to maximize the scavenging and the flow of exhaust gas. The loops do not and the cats are directly off the headers and manufactured in one piece less to rattle and less to play with.

Jan 1, 2020 · I think the only real difference mods make is the sound--okay, maybe a few more ponies (like the bike even needs it!), depending on the mod and then there's rejetting, etc.--but in the case of Valks, Honda didn't really make the stock exhaust such that the bike is all constipated, like for example my 09 Triumph Bonnie stock exhaust was.

Dec 6, 2014 · If you have noticed when you removed your system for the modification of the system that both sides of each three cylinders of the boxer 6 we have are nicely engineered with a exhaust header by Honda? That is way cooooollll! You have done it right; someone will make the pipes we need to abort the cats and straight shot the flow.

Apr 4, 2016 · If someone with a set gets theirs dynoed then I have a stock 2014 Valk dyno sheet to compare it to. Also, I seriously doubt a simple exhaust change has any real difference in performance without an ECU reflash or a Power Commander. While Torque Master claims their pipes add 5hp or whatever, I requested a dyno sheet from them but never heard back.

Jan 1, 2020 · Drill at your own risk. I drilled one out. Sounds like a leaky exhaust. Plugged it back up. I think if someone removed the muffler and were the exhaust entered there is a baffle that causes the exhaust to travel toward the rear were it filters through an inner liner travels back to the front and then out the tube that you see at the rear of the muffler.
