2021年9月1日 · Cannot uninstall programs via "Add or Remove Programs" I'm trying to go through my Windows 10 PC and clean out old programs that I no longer use, but there are a few programs such as this video game that I cannot uninstall via Windows' "Add or Remove Programs" menu.

Open the old Control Panel, not the Settings app, then set View at the top right to icons and then open Programs and Settings, if those games appear in the list there, choose the option to uninstall them, you should then be informed they are no longer installed and asked if you want to remove them from the list. 3

2019年3月4日 · Kapil, thank you! I found my way to this page because the add or remove programs part of settings immediately quit, on both copies of Windows 10 that I had updated to build 1903. Your Powershell script fixed one machine but not the other. I sent in a screen recording of the incident happening, maybe Microsoft will have other suggestions.

2023年11月8日 · I can't open the "Add or remove programs" window. If I try to open it from the Start menu or Settings, a blank window opens for about 3 seconds and then closes. Event Viewer is indicating an issue with the Immersive Control Panel SettingsHandlers_StorageSense.dll. This only affects one single user.
