2017年8月11日 · I'm currently running a successful sps tank under 6xT5's over a 40 breeder and am considering going to a 4xT5's, 2 kessils A360w's combo so I can get halide type shimmer. Does anyone here run a sps tank using kessils and if so would you mind posting it here and let me know how long it's been under the kessils.

2020年11月12日 · The 500x (and 360x) will grow sps just fine, but this style of light provides very strong contrast, so shading is a part of it. If you're going sps dominant, then I would suggest a couple more lights than what you have planned or use supplemental lighting along with them.

2017年3月26日 · My sps are all slowly browning under the a80 in my QT tank.. but I have it cranked and only at 6" above the water level in my evolve 8g. Z's, P's, lps, and softies all look good though... hmm. They're all doing well with polyp extension, just brown.

2015年9月19日 · Ideally I would like to have around 250-300 PAR at 7" since that's the ideal range for a lot of acros and SPS corals. My plan is to put the A150 in and hang it around 16" above the water level to start.

2017年3月26日 · I have a 14g biocube with a few mods and I too am running the kessil A80 over it. I love the kessil shimmer and the design looks great for nanos in my opinion. I was surprised to see that you run your lights at 100% intensity for quite some time.

2015年8月24日 · This is a new tank as I have recently moved and had to shut down my old custom 93g SPS tank. I have been keeping all my SPS corals at a friend’s house and they have always been under T5 light. My question is how should I start my SPS under these new lights?

2014年1月19日 · I'm thinking of making the leap from MH lights to LED. So far I'm leaning towards a couple of the new Kessil 360's. Anyone out there running these on a SPS tank that can talk me into or out of making this switch?

2019年3月27日 · Anyone have Kessils for SPS? I currently have mine set to 65% for 4 hours during the day with increments up and back down. Wondering if this is enough, too much, too little? Current frags look pretty good, good polyp extension and coloration.
