2018年11月10日 · I came to this thread to figure out what the difference with HGTV Sherwin Williams sold at Lowes and the stand-alone store. From personal experience customer service at Lowes is better than at the SW stores I visited in TX. You cannot purchase paint samples at the SW store. They tell you to go online and order a swatch.

2018年1月19日 · Promar 200 is Sherwin Williams contractor grade Residential paint. SuperPaint is in their DIY lineup. I've heard a lot of mixed opinions some like one better then the other but the products have also changed a lot in recent history.

2011年12月20日 · I have been using Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 for over ten years on interior paint jobs. My most common is water-based eggshell sheen. I have been having big issues getting the same ability to cover walls when rolled and cutting edges with a brush than I ever have had in the past.

2012年7月23日 · I don't know but I've really been impressed with promar 200 zero. It's really an improvement from normal 200, and I actually liked the normal 200. I mean, it's not as good as regal select. Let me put it this way, I'd rather use zero 200 over duration. 40 bucks a gallon on zero 200 you're getting screwed. No way around it.

2011年12月17日 · I have been a long time fan of the Promar 200 line from Sherwin Williams. Ever since they added the new blue labels I have noticed big issues with coverage. The largest issue I noticed is the cut in lines around the edging do not cover completely. Also, on the last job I finished the walls did not even cover with the roller completely.

2018年5月12日 · It seems that you have to go to semi gloss to be able to find a base that was capable of tinting that dark. Eventually Sherwin Williams told us that we could use the SW Promar 200 interior alkyd eggshell and it would do a great job. He primed with a white high build lacquer, sanded and then sprayed a few coats of Promar 200.

2021年5月3日 · I have an extra 3 gallons ProMar 200 Primer left and was hoping I could use that to spray crown mounding trim. What I have read says that you can, and the SW rep I called said that it would be fine. All I have read on PaintTalk was for priming drywall. The crown is clear, no knots, and I was going to topcoat with advance. Got around 400' to do.
