First, I cut the aluminum tubing, 2 pieces to sit on top of the trailer frame and long enough to cantilever out and support the ladder and 2 more just long enough to go under the frame. See the picture and you will see how the 2 top tubes are connected to the 2 bottom tubes with the ss threaded rod and actually just sandwich the trailer frame.

2013年5月23日 · Sadly the boat is coming off of the lift soon. I'm trying to figure out the best way to access the boat so I can launch solo. Boat is a 25' hydrasport cc. The bow sits too high to climb onto it, and it sits too far back to safely monkey onto from standing on the top of the tailgate.

Great ideas! Love the handrails. If you simply need a way to board the boat while preparing for launch and organizing boat for ride home, I went with a cheaper and for me easier to use two step household ladder.

We build bow ladders on our trailers all the time. Mostly for cats or commercial work boats like the one you see here but its just as easy for a v-bow.

2021年7月28日 · The boat fits like a glove now, the easiest trailer to load I've had so far. We had it loaded in about 5 minutes for the first time, vs our old trailer took 10-20 to get it to sit right and centered. I did switch from a roller to a bunk, and so far am happy I did so.

Owens does. Sport Trail does. Charleston Trailer does. If Sport Trail doesn't have the jig for your boat then they won't build you a trailer unless you want to drag the boat on its current trailer to Mississippi. If you are looking at other options besides Owens and Ameratrail I would look at Loadmaster and Float On. Both build a decent trailer.

The boat has a Euro transom and came w a collapsing ladder (pretty useless!) but that provided for an area to surface mount the bracket sprunx 06-24-2021 07:24 AM
