Here’s a somewhat unusual trail cam capture - - a snowshoe hare. They are shy and nocturnal critters that do not show themselves often. Take notice of the larger back feet and mottled brown coloring on its otherwise white winter coat. By summer it will be a reddish brown color. This camera is sits in a remote area of Cameron County, not far from several clear cuts that provide good food and cover for snowshoe hares and other creatures.
