🏀On April 9, 1982 at halftime of the Celtics eventual 106-103 win over the New Jersey Nets, Boston retired Jo Jo White’s number 10 at Boston Garden. White played all but 120 games of his 837-game NBA career with the Celtics. With Boston, White was a 2-time NBA champion (1974, 1976), NBA Finals MVP (1976) and a 7-time NBA All-Star (1971–1977).
