Fun fact about giant panda

Meet our newest red panda, a young female named Little Mebo! She was born at the Memphis Zoo and came here on a breeding recommendation by AZA’s Species Survival Plan for Red Pandas. Her arrival marks the first time SF Zoo has cared for this red panda subspecies (styani), as we have historically cared for the smaller subspecies (refulgens).
